Police investigating a report of a dangerous driving incident in Tewkesbury last month are appealing for witnesses.
The incident occurred at the traffic calming area on Northway Lane just before the M5 motorway bridge at around 4.45pm on Thursday 24 April.
It was reported that the driver of a blue BMW 320 D SE undertook a vehicle that was waiting at the traffic calming point. The driver mounted the pavement before driving along it, narrowly missing colliding with a pedestrian.
Investigating officers would now like to speak to the pedestrian who was walking on the pavement when the BMW driver mounted it.
He is described as wearing jogging bottoms, a red T-shirt and jacket and was carrying a black backpack.
Other pedestrians were in the area at the time and officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed what happened, and who has not already spoken to police, to get in touch.
The driver of a second vehicle, which was a BMV 330E also in blue, was recording the incident on a mobile phone and is believed to be known to the suspect.
Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which shows the occupants of either BMW in the area around the time of the incident.
