There is still time for parent carers of children and young people aged 0–25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to have their say in Gloucestershire’s Annual Parent Carer Survey.
The survey, which remains open until Friday 5 December 2025, invites families to share their experiences of education, health, social care and early help services. Gloucestershire County Council says every response will help shape improvements across the county.
The council’s Local Area Partnership uses the findings to guide future planning. Last year’s feedback resulted in several changes, including a monthly Families in Partnership newsletter to improve communication, and a new SEND-friendly calendar highlighting specialist events and opportunities.

Cllr Linda Cohen, cabinet member for education and skills, urged families to take part. She said: “We’re working together with families, local groups and professionals to build services that meet the needs of children and young people with SEND. By sharing your views, you’ll be helping us to create a more supportive, inclusive Gloucestershire.”
