Police are appealing for witnesses following a report that a man was struck by a vehicle in Twyning, near Tewkesbury yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened in the Church End area at around 3.45pm on Friday 4 September and a man required hospital treatment.

It is thought there were a number of people who were nearby or drove past around that time and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed it or has dashcam footage to come forward.

As part of the investigation a vehicle has been seized and a 28-year-old man from Worcester has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He remains in police custody today, Saturday 5 September.
