Plans to create up to four bespoke self-build homes on the edge of Teddington in Tewkesbury, have been submitted to Tewkesbury Borough Council.
The planning application, from Livedin, proposes creating a small group of self-build homes on an unused strip of scrubland, on the western edge of Teddington.
The phased development would provide much needed homes in the Tewkesbury area and help the Local Authority tackle its deficit of self-build plots as highlighted in the Local Authority’s Self-Build and Custom House Building Register.
Livedin’s analysis suggests only 57% of demand for housing of this type is currently being met.

The site would boost the local economy, by increasing local spending and employment for small builders, tradespeople and suppliers during the construction phase.
