Ashchurch care home raises money for Age UK Gloucestershire

Ashchurch View Care Home in Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury held a “Big Christmas Raffle” which was drawn at the home’s Christmas party. 

The Home were delighted to present the cheque from the proceeds of the raffle to Age UK Gloucestershire.

Samantia DeFlorimonte-Rose, General Manager welcomed Ida the Age Friendly Community Lead for Tewkesbury, Helen the Head of Age Friendly Communities and the charities’ Deputy Chief Executive and Ellie, the Digital Engagement Coordinator.  Samantia along with Activities Coordinator Sarah and resident Betty were delighted to present the cheque for £136.00.

Residents came along to the home’s café to watch the presentation and take the opportunity to chat to team from Age UK Gloucestershire. Samantia thanked everyone who supported the raffle including the generous prize donations from the Ashchurch View team and their families. Age UK Gloucestershire provide a range of information and advice services as well as social groups across the county.

The Charities ambition is to make Gloucestershire the best county in which to grow older.
