Abnormal loads through Gloucestershire on 1 and 5 November

Police will be escorting an abnormal load through Gloucestershire this Saturday and next Wednesday.

At around 10.30am on both dates, an industrial power unit will be escorted from the M50, through Tewkesbury High Street and along the A38.

It will rejoin the M5 southbound at Junction 9 before travelling to Swansea.

The load is 22m long, 4.6m wide and weighs 145 tonnes and while traffic disruption will be kept to a minimum, motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and to avoid the route if possible.
